Each year Pitti Immagine hosts a 3-day exhibition called TASTE - a celebration of some of Italy's finest gastronomic producers. With a small entrance fee you can see and sample some of Italy's finest meats, cheeses, olive oils, pastas, and so on...and so on...and so on. It's a never ending sample-fest that pleases (almost all of) the senses. It lasted from Saturday to Monday, and I went Monday morning hoping to avoid the crowded weekend samplers. That didn't happen. But some great sampling and chatting it up with the producers did happen, and was a lot of fun.
