Day in the Florentine Countryside with Locals and Pizza Making

Fabio and Luca are brothers and happen to be two of my favorite Florentine men. They're the people who helped me learn Italian AND taught me how to play Scopa, the gin rummy of Italian card games. They are your typical Santo Spirito neighborhood characters and love to talk about Florence, Tuscany and Italia. By day, they have a decades-old family furniture restoration shop where they restore and sell incredible pieces of furniture. In their off-time they love heading out to the family's countryside villa and entertaining.
This tour I've created with them combines discussing local culture, sight-seeing and some regional history, along with visiting favorite local spots and taking a dip in Lake Bilancino. Finally, the icing on the cake, we'll have the extraordinary experience of visiting their countryside home for a hands-on pizza party outdoors with wood-fired grill. There will be plenty of wine, music and fun as well. Transportation to and from your Florence accommodation will be provided, and you'll have not only the locals, but a translator/guide as well.
