Fall/Winter Tuscan Getaway for Two

I'm working on a food and wine lover's dream Tuscany getaway and wanted to share it with everyone. It's a Fall / Winter trip for two with plenty of food and wine activities to keep you warm, plus a few city visits with private guides.

7-Day itinerary for 2 people

• A private half-day cooking class with Italian chef in her home

• Private tour and wine tasting and making at Chianti winery with bottling, labeling and shipping of 12 bottles of your creation to your home in the US

• Lunch at world-famous Tuscan restaurant

• Private guide and driver for a visit to Bolgheri wineries, an incredible farmhouse lunch, and visit to the charming hilltop town of Volterra

• Day trip to Florence with private guide and skip-the-line tickets to the Accademia and Duomo

• Private guide and driver for a visit to a San Gimignano winery plus lunch and wine tasting in a Chianti winemaker's home. Enjoy their wine around their table while they prepare an incredible Tuscan lunch. 

• One week of rental car (basic manual car with unlimited miles)

• Slice of Tuscany Planning – includes a detailed itinerary, budget, personal recommendations for free time, restaurant reservation, all reservations/bookings mentioned above, and on-call assistance before and during your travel

If you can find a deal on airfare or have points towards flights, that can go a long way. Or if you fly in November or December, you can often find great, last-minute deals especially to airports in Milan or Pisa.

Accommodations in Tuscany range from super sweet BandB/farmhouses for 100-250 per night, to villas at 3000 per week, or gorgeous 5-star castles for 2000 per night. No matter your style or budget, I can help you find the perfect place at the right price.
